About the client
The Orange County Dental Society is a membership association for dental professionals in Orange County, California.
What the site does
- A continuing-education and events calendar with in-person, webinar and social events, built on The Events Calendar and Event Tickets.
- A vendor directory with instant search and filters.
- Entry points to the society’s member portal and job board.
My contribution
I built the site from scratch with WordPress blocks, on a child theme of Twenty Twenty-Four, working from the Figma design.
- Custom plugins for the site’s features, such as searches that filter content by tags, added to the pages as shortcodes.
- One of them powers the vendor directory, where visitors search and filter the list without reloading the page.
